Dylan Obrien Franklin MA Motorcycle Accident, Death Obituary – Dylan O’Brien Is Dead
Dylan was described by his loved ones as a young man whose devotion to God, family, and friends stood at the centre of his life. He approached his relationships with loyalty and sincerity, guided by a strong sense of right and wrong. Those who knew him will remember not only his convictions but also his playful, adventurous personality and the mischievous sense of humour that brought warmth to the people around him. His passing leaves a painful emptiness in the lives of those who cherished him.
At just 18, Dylan had many experiences still ahead of him. Like other young people beginning to discover their place in the world, he had opportunities to pursue, relationships to nurture, and plans to build. His family’s tribute also remembered his practical interests, including working on lawnmowers and snowblowers, along with his enjoyment of golf and fishing. These details offer a glimpse of the everyday passions that made Dylan unique and that will remain part of his loved ones’ memories.
Dylan is survived by his father, Sean O’Brien, of Norfolk; his mother, Kathie O’Brien, of Franklin; his older brother, Tyler O’Brien, of West Lafayette, Indiana; and his girlfriend, Josie Warner, of Franklin. He also leaves behind extended family members and many friends who will miss his loyalty, humour, and generous spirit. As they face this devastating loss, the memories they shared may become a source of comfort, even as the pain of his absence remains deeply felt.
Calling hours for Dylan are scheduled for Friday, October 16, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Ginley Funeral Home in Franklin. A celebration of his life will take place on Saturday, October 17, at 10 a.m. at Medway Community Church, with burial at Evergreen Cemetery in Medway. As family and friends gather to honour him, may they find strength in their faith, comfort in one another, and peace in the memories of the young man they loved. Dylan’s life was brief, but the love he shared and the lives he touched will remain part of his lasting legacy.
